The Data Overview is a collection of visualisations of data aggregation of your game.
At the very top, as with all pages, is the date selector, allowing you to refine your results by time period. This can show you how a specific event, such as a patch rollout, content update, marketing campaign, widely shared story in the media, etc. affected your game. The orange dropdown next to it provides several shortcuts to quickly select a date range, or you can instead click on the start and end date to bring up calendars with which you can select a custom date range. The date selector moves onto the left-hand panel as you scroll down the page so that you don't have to scroll back up to the top of the page to change the date range.
Next down the page is the Overall Sentiment Change graph. This tracks how the sentiment of your game has changed over time. Hover over each dot on the graph to get the specific average sentiment for that indicated day, week or month. Click two dots to change the date range for the page. To the right of the graph is a share button which gives you a list of options for the data in the graph.
The next graph totals the number of interactions in a bar chart. You can hover your mouse cursor over each bar to see a breakdown of the numbers - how many interactions there were in total during the day, week or month that the bar represents, what percentage of interactions that represents over the entire selected date range, how many of those interactions were taken from what kind of source, and how many of those interactions have been flagged as descriptive. There is also a colour code to roughly indicate how many interactions were positive (green) or negative (red).
The final graph in the "Over Time" section is the Sentiment Split. This graph shows the split of sentiment for all interactions within the month, week, or day you have selected in the date range. By hovering your mouse over each bar you will see the specific split of positive, negative, or neutral sentiment in percentages.
To the right of the graph, you can click the graph icon to change to show the split of sentiment over the selected period, rather than for each interval within the date range.
Next down the page is the Sentiment Drivers which show the top 5 most positive and negative topics for your game within the selected date range. In the table, you will see the topic name, the number of interactions, all-time sentiment and sentiment within the selected date range, and the difference between the two. You can use the "Explore" arrow to see more data for the specific topic. The three toggles above the table allow you to switch it to show the Most Positive and Negative Topics, Improving and Decreasing Topics, or Emerging Topics.
Below this is the Per Channel which shows the average sentiment and number of interactions in each channel during the set date range for your game. The three channels of data for Player XP are User Reviews, Social, and Online Communities. You can use the "Explore" button to see more data for each channel and add comparison games to compare your games' interactions and sentiment for each channel with another game.
Carrying on down the page is a comparative graph of the top three most discussed categories for your game. This data can be arranged by volume of interactions or by sentiment by toggling the respective button above the graph, you can also toggle the volume of interactions by a whole number or by percentage. On the right of the graph is a summary of data for each respective category shown. This includes its current sentiment score, the total number of interactions that have been categorised there during the selected date range, and the top three most discussed topics within that category. You can cycle between all twenty categories in groups of three to see their data visualised in the same way by clicking the left and right arrow buttons.
