In this article you'll learn:
- How to remove a Topic so it no longer appears in your results
- How to restore a previously removed Topic
- How to review what Topics have been removed
Following on from having the ability to Hide specific Topics, we also have a feature to Remove topics from all aggregations across any game. With this feature, you'll be able to remove any Topic from across the dashboard to evaluate how your game performs without your removed Topic.
How to Remove a Topic:
As with all of the areas of the platform we work on, we've aimed to make it very simple to remove a Topic inside the dashboard. The first thing you'll need to do is navigate into a specific Topic that you would like to remove.
Once inside a Topic, you'll see the Topic Action button on the top right-hand side of the page (as seen in the image below).
Once you click on the Topic Action button you'll see the dropdown menu appear. To continue removing the Topic, click on 'Remove Topic From Game'.
A warning prompt will then appear asking for confirmation before setting the Topic to be Removed.
When you remove a Topic, the Topic and all of its associated interactions are then removed across the game. This is especially useful if you are wanting to evaluate the impact a certain Topic is having on your community sentiment.
Reviewing Removed Topics:
You can review what Topics have been removed for a specific game, either by yourself or by one of your colleagues, by visiting the Community Hub page. Once on the page, look for the Dashboard Customisation icon in the Hub sidebar. Clicking on this icon should give you this view...
From here, you will see a list of your removed Topics.
Restoring a Topic:
To unhide a previously removed Topic, navigate to the Dashboard Customisation tab on the Hub page and then click the bin icon. Clicking this icon will restore the Topic.
