Player XP allows you to request Internal or "Custom" data sources to set up for your game on the dashboard. Player XP usually monitors the standard set of sources which includes social media platforms, message boards and user reviews. However, you can start monitoring and analysing Internal data sources with player data that is not publicly accessible.
Survey Data
Player XP has automatic integration with SurveyMonkey, allowing users to connect with their SurveyMonkey account so that we can collect and analyse survey responses and display the data on the dashboard with your games. All you need to do is provide us with the Access Token to your SurveyMonkey app and give us permission to view surveys, responses and response details. You can find our Helpdesk article on Authenticating SurveyMonkey here.
We can also work with you to integrate survey results from any platform, whether that be another software or an internal survey your studio has done. We can upload any survey results to Player XP for analysis so that you can view them on the dashboard.
Custom Data
Other internal data that a user might request would be classified as 'Custom Data'. An example of this would be in-game chat. For this, we would need permission to your game's data and then we can gather comments and interactions that players leave in your game's online chat and contribute this to your community's sentiment so you can see how positive or negative your game's playerbase is.
Another example of custom data you can integrate with Player XP is Zendesk. We can work with you to export your data from Zendesk and analyse it in Player XP so you can have it as another data source on your dashboard.
If you are interested in setting up a custom data source for your game, get in touch and let us know what source you would like to monitor on your dashboard!
