Filters enable you to narrow down specific data you would like to view in the Interaction Explorer. The below images will expand on what each element on filters will enable you to view.
General Filters:
- By typing a word of your choice, you will be requesting data related to the word entered. This will display related posts and interactions within the discussed categories.
- Also by typing a word in this field, you will be searching for interactions where the typed word has been mentioned. All posts and interactions related will be displayed within their discussed categories.
- This option will enable to filter per desired categories. You can search for multiple categories and topics to be displayed. You can also remove categories if you wish.
- After selecting one or multiple categories, you can choose to display any topic at random or all topics of that or particular categories.
- This option enables you to select which channel you would like your data to be drawn from.
- With your cursor, you can shift to the right or left to pull out comments related to your desired sentiment – positive, negative or neutral.
- Here, you are telling Player XP whether you would like the displayed data to be constructive or not. By selecting “No”, only numbers will be shown, with no further information.
- Here you have the choice of displaying only data of interactions posted by players or community officials or both.
- You can select here in which order you would like to display the data that is being pulled out. You will have the “Newest” ones first as a default.
Filter by Channels:
By clicking on the drop-down you will have the list of set channels we use in Player XP, from which you can select the one to retrieve the data. These can only be selected one at a time. Once you have selected the channels, various sources will appear in the channel the data will be drawn from. You can select which source you would like the data to be drawn from.
Filter by Categories & Topics:
By clicking on “Add Category” you will be viewing a list of categories by clicking on the drop-down, and you will be able to select your chosen category, As a result of your choice, the displayed data will be related to the selected category.
Sorting the data:
By selecting an item on the drop-down list, you will be instructing Player XP to display the data accordingly.
All data can be filtered individually or by combining more than one set of filter elements. These filters allow you to segment data per findings after having a bigger picture. They enable you to break down and simplify different interactions which are posted in various communities.
