In this article you'll learn:
- How to Combine two or more Topics into a single one
- How to review and manage Combined Topics
One of the most powerful tools in our customization suite is the Combine Topics feature. This option is particularly beneficial throughout the lifecycle of a game. Whether you are monitoring the reception of a seasonal update, a patch, or a new DLC by your community, you can gather the most relevant keywords related to the update and combine them into a single topic for streamlined monitoring.
The Combine Topics feature is also invaluable for Customer Support agents. It enables them to create a single topic encompassing all relevant keywords and groupings pertinent to their workflow. This includes, but is not limited to, recurrent bugs, emerging issues, and update glitches.
How to Combine Topics:
The first thing you'll need to do is navigate into a specific Topic that you would like to combine.
Once inside a Topic, you'll see the Topic Action button on the top right-hand side of the page (as seen in the image below).
If you click on the Topic Action button, you'll see the following dropdown menu appear. Simply click the item labelled 'Combine Topic'.
Upon clicking, the following pop-up window will be displayed: from here, you'll be able to select the name of your Combined Topic and the topics to combine together (2 or more). Clicking on "Confirm" will save your preferences and combine the selected topics into a single one.
Once this procedure is completed, all the interactions appearing within the selected Topics will be consolidated into a single Topic throughout the entire game's dashboard.
How to manage Combined Topics:
You can review and manage the Topics that have been combined for a specific game by visiting the Community Hub page. Once on the page, look for the Dashboard Customisation icon in the Hub sidebar and then select the "Combined Topics" tab.
Clicking on this tab will bring you to this page:
From here, you'll be able to edit the name of your Combined Topics set or remove the combined topics from your dashboard. Please note that this will only erase the newly created combination of topics, but it will not effect the individual Topics that were combined to create it.
