Hi there,
Your players talk across a lot of different channels. Knowing where the conversation is happening can give you the context you need to understand what they're saying and why.
With PlayerXP, you can break down feedback by platform and get a clearer view of how sentiment and volume change across Discord, Reddit, YouTube, Steam and more.
Here’s how to make the most of your data sources:
🌐 Understand where your data is coming from
Your dashboards combine feedback from platforms like Reddit, Discord, Steam, and more. Each source has its own tone and audience, which can influence both sentiment and the type of feedback you see.
➕ Add or manage your data sources
If you need to track a new platform or bring in additional data, just reach out to us. We can enable new sources, including custom ones, to match your setup. You can also hide sources you don’t need to keep your dashboards focused.

📊 Compare sentiment across platforms
Use filters to break down sentiment by source or check the Sentiment By Channel module and see how different communities react. A feature might land well on one platform and poorly on another, and this helps you spot those differences quickly.
🎯 Leverage platform-specific feedback
Each platform tells a different story. Reddit is often great for in-depth discussions, Discord for real-time reactions, and Steam can be used to monitor and manage player reviews.
Video sources like YouTube and TikTok help you scout UGC and track creator activity through the Top Content Creators module.
Understanding your sources helps you turn scattered feedback into clear, actionable insights.
If you’d like help setting up or reviewing your data sources, we’re always here to help.
