The User Registration System allows you to manage your company and games on Player XP. You can monitor users, manage games, make teams, and customise the dashboard to how you want to visualise your data.
Company Admin is the highest account level for users on the dashboard. This gives you admin capabilities for all areas of your company.
This article will show you how to manage and overview all areas of your company using the Player XP User Registration System.
My Company
This section of the guide is for users with Company Admin access on the dashboard. You can view your company on the "My Company" page in "Profile" on the Hub Page. Here you can see all your company's Player XP account information.
At the top of this screen, you will see your Company Name and 2 toggles, "2FA required" and "Customisation Allowed". The 2FA toggle will enable 2 Factor Authentication for your company, this means users on the dashboard will require a 2FA code when logging into Player XP and will be prompted at the next login for a phone number.
The Customisation Allowed toggle allows users in your company to customise the dashboard, this includes editing categories and topics using the action menu (shown below).
If "Customisation Allowed" is disabled, users will not have the action menu on their dashboards. Only Company Admins have customisation permissions at all times.
Next on the "My Company" page, you will see the Users table. This table shows all the users with Player XP accounts in your company. The headers of the table show the users:
- Job Title
- Account Level
- Admin Status
- Account Creation Date
- Account Verification Status
- Date of Last Access
- 2FA
As a company admin, you can click on any user in your company and view their profile, delete the user, or toggle them as company admin. You can also use the "Users" tab on the left of your screen to view all Player XP users in your company.
To invite users to your company, use the "Add User" button above the table. You can set them as Company Admin and assign them to any teams you may have. The invited user will receive an email with a link to create their Player XP account. If 2FA is enabled they will need to enter a phone number.
Click the cloud icon above the table to export a CSV of the contents of the table.
Teams
You can create teams in your company and assign users to each team. Your teams are listed in the Teams table, displayed with the company of the team and the number of users each team has. To make a team, click the "Add Team" button and enter a name. When viewing your team, there will be a Users and Games table. You can add users to the team using the "Add User" button and choosing from the list of users in your company. As a Company Admin, you can assign games to the teams from your games list. Games you assign to these teams will show in the users' Games list on the Hub.
You can view users' accounts, remove them from the team, and toggle them as team leads by clicking on their accounts in the Users list. Company Admins and Team Leads can enable 2FA for users in the team and change the name of the team.
Games
Scrolling down the "My Company" page is the Games list. Here you will see the list of all your company's games, The table will show the release date of the game, the date we started collecting data for the game, the publisher and the developer. You can order any of the tables by clicking on the headers by which you want to order them.
Whitelisted Domains
The final table on the "My Company" page is Whitelisted Domains. You can add domains using the "Add Whitelisted Domain" button, click on a domain and select "Delete domain" to remove it from the list.
My Profile
The "My Profile" tab on the left of your screen is where you can view your profile information. You will see your registered email address for the account and your job title. The 2FA toggle will enable this for your account and require you to enter a phone number. You can update your phone number using the "Update phone number" button. The "Request password reset" button will send an email which contains a password reset link.
More of your account's information is further down the page. You can see the creation date of your account, the date of your previous login, account verification status, and account level.
Team Admin
This section of the guide is for users with Team Admin access on the dashboard. Team Admins are assigned by Company Admins when a team is created. Note that a team does not require an Admin, so unless one is assigned there will be no Team Admin when created. On the games list, you can see the games assigned to your team. As a Team Lead, you can change your team name and enable 2FA and Customisation for all users in your team. To confirm these changes, click "Update Team".
Next, you will be able to see the Users table, which shows a list of all the users in your team. Add users to your team by clicking "Add User" and selecting an existing user in the company from the drop-down menu.
The Games list shows the list of games in your company. Games that are greyed are not active for your team, clear games are active. You can also identify this using the "Active" header on the table. If the game says 'True' then it is active, 'False' means it is inactive. To enable a game, click it in the table and select "Enable game". Do the same on an enabled game and click "Disable game" to remove it. Active games for your team will be on the Hub Page for all users in the team.
Whitelisted Users
A Whitelisted User, or a team member, is a user who has registered an account on Player XP and is in your company. They do not have any admin capabilities. Whitelisted users will be required to set up a phone number for 2FA if it is enabled for the company or if the user enables it themselves. The company takes precedence over the user so if 2FA is enabled by the company then a user cannot disable it.
Trial User
Users can sign up for a limited-time free trial of Player XP. This account has low-level access with no admin capabilities. The trial account will have Player XP's free games available for users to test out the dashboard and some of its features.
